The TIM 2012 is over and is waiting for you on the next year. It were two intense days and remarkable in term of quality of the games and the atmosphere that the public offered. Theses two days will be graved in the memories. Thanks all the teams to have come, certain have done thousands of kilometers, thanks too the public which, for certain people, have done a lot of kilometers too, to applause the young hopes of the international Basketball. But especially, thanks the volunteers which have worked for a long time to have maked a new TIM edition more attracting and rich in sensations. Thanks again to have come a lot and we are waiting for you on the next year for again a lot of new suprises !!

Speech from Paul Hugot (Assistant of sports and horse riding)

We keep all of us a big souvenir of splendids matchs of the 2011 TIM edition, and with all the public which will be present, i’m waiting unpatiently the next 6-7 and 8 april to see the young champions treading on the ground of Saumur and Vivy. For the 9th year of this prestigious tournament, the Saumur Loire Basket 49 propose to us, featuring with Authion Entente Basketball, to rediscover the universal worth of the sport bring by the 24 deleguations of young basketballers.

With a beautiful show, the 2012 Tim edition counts among the rendezvous which you’ve not to miss, and i’m glad in advance to welcome, thanks to the TIM, the young players from Croatia, Lithuania, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, France, Italy, Belgium, Turkey and Germany, in our beautiful city of Saumur. With a total of 11 nationalities, these teams from all levels have just one ambition : To live a great human experience and share their passion.

As each year, i can’t prevent myself to underline the enthusiasm and incredible investment from volunteers, host families, sports actors… who give them all their forces for a great success, and i would like to congratulate them. The TIM, it’s an human adventure, it’s a solidarity between nations, it’s the success of voluntary, it’s also the apology of sport, and it’s 2000 visitors in Saumur : Let’s go TIM !!

Making sport, we make friends

Welcome on the blog of the International Minimes Tournament of Saumur which is located in the Maine et Loire (49). Each year, several teams from abroad and France come challenge to win the trophy which will be the award of this prestigious tournament, the yearly sport event in Saumur.

An Easterweekend with family have been planned ? Well, come to support and applause the juniors of national and international basketball on the 7 and 8 April 2012.
